This stunning marbled Tokoname-yaki kyusu (teapot) has a tall, cylindrical shape, and is made from green, ivory, and black clay kneaded together in the nerikomi (練り込み) technique. The cuts made to create this pot's faceted shape reveal even more layers and patterns of marbling.
